uBlock Origin

Hands down the best ad/content blocker on the market. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to watch YouTube ad free or likes to use piracy sites. FBI literally recommends you use an ad blocker btw.

SponsorBlock

SponsorBlock is a simple browser extension that uses a community-made database of timestamps to automatically skip sponsored segments and advertisements in YouTube videos. It has a pretty wide userbase, so it's rare that you'll find a sponsored video that's not in the database.

Everyone should know this by now, but in case you don't, OBS is probably the best recording/streaming software on the market, and it's 100% free and open source.

VDO.Ninja

A useful peer-to-peer video tool. I'm not sure what everyone else uses it for, but I use it to stream my camera to my PC so that I can use OBS's virtual camera to play Magic the Gathering remotely or so I can have a decently high-quality camera in Discord.

PowerToys is one of the first things I like to install on any new system and on my friend's systems when they need me to be their tech support guy. It has so many convenient features, a color picker, a quick image resizer, a mass renaming tool, a screen ruler, a screen text extractor, a MacOS spotlight search clone, and a tool which forces an application to the forefront of your screen.
